Hello all, it's Monday.
Yesterday we had a deaf baptism, which was absolutely wonderful. For those of you who haven't seen one before, the person baptizing says the ordinance in ASL. The spirit was super strong, and we had a devotional right after. What a neat experience for the newest member of the church. She and her deaf husband are now working towards being sealed in the temple, and the ward is including them in the activities that are coming up. It's super neat to see how peoples' lives change when they apply gospel principles. They always end up happier and more purposeful than before.
Our fire alarm also went off this week, but I was the only one who could hear it. It's because I put toast in the toaster for too long, but I look over and my companion is just sitting on the couch, looking at his phone like nothing is happening.
One neat thing from the week is that I've been borrowing servers from Google. They have T4 graphics cards which are very good at running AI models. So I fired up a model called Stable Diffusion (sdxl) and started thinking of cool scenes from the scriptures. I love the scene in 3 Nephi 11, so I made a few pictures from that. I've been putting the coolest ones on Facebook so that when I DM people they think I'm a cool person and will talk about the gospel with me. I'll drop a few of the pictures in the chat here.
Other than that, it's been a neat week. Time to get back to work. Have an amazing week!
